Punjab Agricultural University: India's only Agri Institute in Prestigious BRICS Network

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, has achieved a notable milestone by becoming India’s only agricultural institution to be included in the BRICS Network University (BRICS-NU). This recognition highlights PAU’s growing global academic presence and its commitment to advancing international collaboration in agricultural education and research.

The inclusion follows PAU’s successful nomination under the thematic area of Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, positioning the university among a select group of global institutions working together to address critical challenges related to food systems, climate resilience, and sustainable development.

Through its participation in the BRICS Network University, PAU will collaborate with leading universities from BRICS nations to promote joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchanges, and shared academic programs.
