PAU research scholar Nisha wins Best Paper Award

Nisha, a PhD research scholar from the Department of Extension Education at the College of Agriculture, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), earned the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Science, Mathematics, Technology and Education – Making and Shaping the Future (SMTE-2024).

The conference took place from November 27 to 29, 2024, at Punjabi University, Patiala, and was organized in partnership with the School of Education, Curtin University, Perth, Australia.

Her award-winning research paper, titled “Impact of Informative Videos on Wheat Cultivation Practices: Enhancing Cost Efficiency and Economic Returns for Farmers in Punjab,” focused on the effective use of information and communication technology (ICT) tools to strengthen knowledge transfer among farmers and improve agricultural outcomes.
